Yael has been a popular Australian actor best known for her role as an actress in Lorna Morello, Lorna and Peretta in Orange Is the New Black. She was also Dora Lumley at Picnic at Hanging Rock. She has appeared in numerous other TV shows and films such as Spirited High Maintenance Deep Water Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero The Wilde Wedding and many others. She is also known as an active advocate for women's issues as well as her support for environmental protection and rights to abortion. Balmain Public was the school in which she graduated from her studies. She was a graduate of Newtown High School of the Performing Arts in Australia, and at the National Institute of Dramatic Art.
